Regarding children and adolescents, mental disorders (psychiatric or psychological) involve disturbances in the development of thinking, learning, behavior, or management of emotions (in relation to age), leading to significant distress or interfering with daily activities (school, domestic or recreational activities).
The subject of mental illnesses is not just a concern for adults. In fact, there are more and more children and adolescents suffering from mental disorders on all continents. They can suffer from the same mental disorders as adults, but with different symptoms.
In addition to the specific symptoms of a psychiatric illness, affected children and adolescents show signs specific to their age and/or development (e.g. gifted children, and adolescents with high intellectual or emotional potential). On average, diagnosing a mental illness in a child takes twice as long as in an adult. But the most difficult thing is not to establish the diagnosis, but to define treatment and adapted support.
As long as you live, it is still possible to save a life. I suggest you raise your voice. Ask the HOLY SPIRIT to help you. The purpose is not to pray, but to be answered.
Ask for healing and the covering of the blood of JESUS. This is not always the case, but quite often mental disorders are caused or aggravated by a demonic presence or a satanic claim. Some of these children and adolescents are oppressed by demons. Others are claimed because of occult commitments made by their ancestors. Some have been drawn by occult practices.
Some of them are ill because of the trauma, violence, nutritional deficiencies, and abuse they have suffered.
Out of naivety and desperation, some parents or grandparents have taken their children to charlatans, ignorant servants of the devil pretending to be something they are not.
Ask for mercy, command the end of oppression, call for healing, proclaim the joy and the will of the FATHER.
Ask for the intervention of the angelic ministry
Pray for medical advances
Pray for those involved in the medical, educational, and social sectors
Pray for discernment, training, equipping, and accompaniment within churches and Christian associations.
Ask JESUS to lead the steps of his disciples
Ask for miracles
Ask for GOD's hand on pregnant women, specifically those whose children may be born with birth defects.
Take the opportunity to prophesy about your descendants and the descendants of your descendants.
Decree spiritual prohibitions against mental illness where you are established.
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people. (1 Timothy 2:1, NIV)
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received freely, give freely. (Matthew 10:8, Ostervald)
Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. (Proverbs 24:11, NIV)
And these are the signs which shall follow them that believe: They shall cast out devils in my name; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; when they drink any deadly drink, it shall not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they shall be healed.
