1001 Prayer topics : #10 The judges and prosecutors of your nation

Gud Mawning princess! Wah Gwaan house of men of integrity! May the HOLY SPIRIT fill you. Speak with courage. Who knows if it wasn't for a time like this that you achieved royalty? (Esther 4:14) Don't wait to be concerned to pray. Don't wait to be begged to help. Do what you can with what you have. Don't feel guilty for not being able to do more. GOD will multiply and increase.

In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines. (Proverbs 18:17, NIV)

Romans 13 : 3-4, NKJV) : "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is GOD’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is GOD’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil."

(2 Chronicles 19 : 5-7, NIV) : He appointed judges in the land, in each of the fortified cities of Judah. He told them, “Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the LORD, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. Now let the fear of the LORD be on you. Judge carefully, for with the LORD our GOD there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”

(Luc 18: 1-8, NKJV) : 1 Then JESUS spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear GOD nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary. 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear GOD nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ” 6 Then the LORD said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall GOD not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?

A judge is a person who exercises a judgment per the law or rules (sport). His or her mission is to settle disputes and establish the law. He analyzes the facts and declares responsibility, guilt, non-guilt, penalties, and reparations. After examining the complaint, the exhibits, and the evidence, and hearing the parties' arguments, the judge passes judgment. The judge alone determines sanctions, penalties, damages, and interest. Sometimes, the judge's powers are shared with a jury. The judge also ensures that claims (complaints) are admissible and that legal proceedings are legal and justified. In some countries, this is the responsibility of the public prosecutor.

A prosecutor is an advocate for society and a representative of the public ministry. He defends society's interests and acts on behalf of the State. In this capacity, he can submit a decision to the judge. He can request an investigation or a judgment against any legal or natural person, guilty or presumed guilty of a crime, a misdemeanor, an infraction, an abuse, or a breach. He seeks justice in the name of the State and the law.

I invite you to pray for the judges and prosecutors of your nation and those in which Christians are persecuted. I propose that you pray for those :

  • Who daily have to listen, examine, observe, propose, and decide with discernment, objectivity, fairness, and compassion.

  • Who commit or are likely to commit judicial errors.

  • Who must sometimes make the difficult decision to release a guilty party for lack of evidence.

  • Who suffer from media exposure, political pressure, or intimidation.

  • Who are stressed, exhausted, disorganized, prejudiced, racist, or corrupt.

  • Who must interpret the law and adapt to legal loopholes.

  • Who must protect minors in danger and judge juvenile delinquents.

  • Who, through their decisions and proposals, can reduce persecution.

  • Who are or will be writers of history.

  • Those who are oppressed or influenced by demons.

  • Who are in CHRIST, filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, and those who are not.

  • Those who are assisted and those who are not.

  • Who are in training, in practice, and at the end of their careers.

Pray in tongues and with your mind as the HOLY SPIRIT inspires you. To intercede is to serve GOD through our prayers. The most important thing is not what I have written, but what the LORD is telling you through what I have written. Go beyond my words. Praying with understanding (revelation), and with faith, is more important than praying in intelligence. To pray in tongues is not to empty one's mind.

  • Bless the LORD for who he is. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne (Psalms 89:14). To him belong the power, might, and glory forever! He reigns. His arm is mighty, his hand strong and his right hand exalted (Psalms 89:14). He wants judges and magistrates to be just in their judgment (Deuteronomy 1:16, Deuteronomy 16:18, Deuteronomy 25:1-2, 2 Chronicles 19:5-7, Deuteronomy 17:8-9, Proverbs 31:8-9, Romans 13:4).

  • For them, ask for the character of CHRIST, discernment, wisdom, intelligence, objectivity, uprightness, integrity, impartiality, benevolence, and courage.

  • For them, ask for physical, mental, and financial health.

  • For them, ask mercy, salvation, and assistance from the HOLY SPIRIT.

  • Ask our FATHER to distinguish and elevate those who are righteous.

  • Pray that the good will remain good and inspire others to be good.

  • Pray that the bad will be corrected and the false exposed.

  • Pray for the correction and reparation of judicial errors.

  • Ask our FATHER to pour oil in abundance on our brothers and sisters who perform these functions in countries where Christians are persecuted. For them especially, ask for divine connections and friendships of destiny.

  • Call for angelic reinforcement, to the homes of those suffering demonic oppression, blackmail, threats, and political interference.

  • Condemns media manipulation and political propaganda.

  • Pray in tongues for members of supreme, constitutional, and military courts.

  • Plead the blood of JESUS on the walls of your nation's courts and those where Christians are persecuted.

  • Declare words of blessing and give glory to GOD for what he will do.

  • Amen.

May GOD remember you and yours. May he show you his face in the day of trouble and deliver you from the wicked. May angels encamp around your house and, through his word, give you discernment. I'll be happy to share your prayer requests 🙂 Write to me, and I'll publish yours.
