To rest in CHRIST is to unload on CHRIST. To rest in CHRIST is to accept that we can't do everything all the time. To rest in CHRIST is not to feel guilty when we take time for personal retreat or rest 🙂 GOD doesn't love you because of what you do. GOD loves you because he chose to love you from the beginning. To rest in CHRIST is to let him heal the wounds of your soul. Relying on CHRIST is trusting. Trusting him doesn't mean expecting him to do what we want. Trusting him means expecting him to do what he thinks is right, when and how he wants to do it. It means believing that He is able to fulfill His Word, and that He will indeed do so. It means having the firm assurance that he will meet our needs. It means trusting him in all circumstances. Relying on CHRIST means relying on him, not on ourselves. Relying on CHRIST means walking in obedience, not sitting in laziness. Relying on CHRIST means listening to him before acting. True faith waits in obedience. True faith is preparing for what GOD will do.
GOD is GOD. He is not surprised by any event. He is peace, life and resurrection (John 11:25-26, John 6:63). There is nothing insurmountable in CHRIST. Think about who GOD is. Proclaim who he is. It doesn't matter if you cry, if you're angry or if you're oppressed. Truth is stronger than sentiment and feelings. Sooner or later, you'll win this battle. Sooner or later, you will be healed of this wound.
It's okay if you don't want to talk for a while. It's okay if your prayers are short and simple. Give priority to adoration. This is not the time for fighting or asking. Appreciate GOD's presence even in his silence. He is the one who says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5). The FATHER gave what was dearest to him for your salvation (John 3:16). He didn't do it to abandon you along the way. You will overcome this trial. You will not die. You will live and tell of the LORD's goodness (Psalms 118:17). For all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 12:19). You will say, "My ear had heard of you; But now my eye has seen you." (Job 42:5). You will shout Praise be to you my rock, redeemer of my life! (2 Samuel 2:23, Psalms 18:2). You will testify that his goodness is great and that his faithfulness endures forever (Psalms 117:2).
You can't lean on someone if you don't think that person is solid, trustworthy, or capable of supporting you. In the same way, you can't lean on GOD if you don't know or believe that he can heal your soul, that he wants to heal your soul, and that he will heal your soul. Can an adult sit comfortably on a child's chair? Can you carry someone heavier than you on your back?
JESUS is much more than an adult chair. Don't you think he's trustworthy? He's known every kind of pain. He's been rejected, abandoned, betrayed, humiliated, abused, and so on. Have you lost someone close to you? The FATHER gave his son (John 3:16), the SON was abandoned by the FATHER (Matthew 27:46). JESUS bore our sufferings and took on our sorrows (Isaiah 53:3-5). What could he be incapable of healing you from? Isn't he almighty (Luke 1:37, 1 Chronicles 29:11, Jeremiah 32:27, Psalms 145:3, Revelation 1:8)? Is He not the master of time and circumstance (Daniel 2:21)? No man, no adversity can diminish the love GOD has for you. It's up to you to believe! Faith doesn't happen by chance. You must choose to believe. No one will believe in GOD for you, because GOD doesn't love anyone instead of you. I repeat, no one will believe in GOD for you. GOD doesn't love you by default. GOD doesn't love you because someone doesn't love him. GOD loves you because he chose to love you from the beginning.
Why should you let adversity rob you of your joy? Why would you let mockery, slander, and backbiting rob you of your peace? Why would you let anxiety prophesy over your life? Why would you trust the word of unbelievers? Who is your Creator? Do you not know your GOD? Don't you know what his name is? Have you forgotten what he has already done in your life and the lives of millions of others? Isn't the LORD the creator of time? Then why are you impatient? Why are you restless?
It's not over until GOD finishes. It's not over until GOD is over. It's not over as long as you rest in CHRIST. It's not over as long as you rely on CHRIST. It's not over as long as you believe, as long as you worship, as long as you give thanks, as long as you praise, as long as you obey, as long as you walk in repentance, as long as his word renews you, as long as you are alive through CHRIST, in CHRIST, and for CHRIST.

Do you know that GOD never lies? If, then, you know that CHRIST is eternal, why would you be in doubt, fear, bitterness, jealousy, covetousness, despair, fornication, idolatry, hatred? 🙂 GOD doesn't ask you to pretend. He's asking you to listen to his Word, read his Word, value his Word, give thanks for his Word, meditate on his Word, believe his Word, proclaim his Word, pray with his Word, sing with his Word, act on his Word and live with his Word. The woman with the blood loss was talking to herself (Mark 5: 25-34). She said to herself, "Even if I only touch her clothes, I'll be healed." (Mar 5:28, Segond 21) 🙂 What if you said to yourself, "Even if I only cling to one word, if I only cling to one word, I will be healed, strengthened, restored, renewed, inspired, restored, comforted, filled, etc." Rest in CHRIST and rely on CHRIST. Step by step, you'll get there, because GOD will sustain you.
