The will of GOD, The works of GOD and the methods of GOD

Updated: May 16, 2023

Sabah ulkheyr (صباحالخير) Beloved. Very often we confuse GOD's will, his works, and his methods. GOD wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1Timothy 2: 4)". In this verse, the word translated by Truth is "Aletheia" (strong #225, Greek). Defined as "that which is true whatever the consideration". I would even say whatever the season. This is the same word JESUS used when He said, "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free" (John 8:32).

Apostle Paul said to the Ephesians, "For we are his work, being created in JESUS CHRIST for good works, which GOD has prepared so that we may walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10). These good works constitute our destiny. We could have the same mission, but we will often not have the same vision. GOD will not act with me exactly as he will act with you. The Apostle Peter had the burden of the Jews, while the Apostle Paul had that of the pagans.

My point of view is this:

• GOD separates, but He never divides.

• He is for unity, but not for the union.

• He wants us to be autonomous, but not independent.

• He created differences to make us complementary. Quite frankly, if we were photocopies of each other, we could neither edify nor support each other. We would have the same limitations, and the devil would only have to find the weak spot to bring us all down.

When you understand this, you stop wanting others to be a copy of you. You pray to do your part, in your time and in your place, and you pray that it will be the same for your neighbor. Evangelists would complain that we are not evangelizing enough. Pastors that we do not take enough care of souls, and Teachers would say that we do not meditate and that we are badly taught. Prophets would say that we pray badly, that we lack discernment; intercessors would say that we are selfish, the politicians would blame us for being locked in our churches, the economists and entrepreneurs would say that we are lazy, and the doctors ... in short, everyone has a reason to complain. But at the end of the journey on earth, it is GOD who will speak. We will appear individually in GOD's court. Therefore, instead of acting under the weight of a feeling of guilt, it is better to ask GOD what He expects of you in this season and to commit you accordingly. It is in no way a question of doing nothing, of lazing around and procrastinating under the pretext of "seeking his face".

Even less of leading an unbalanced life under the pretext of being "focused. But making sure that we have the priorities in the right place. Do not blame others for not doing what GOD calls us to do or what He asks us to do. What would be a society where cooks blame surgeons for not being in the kitchen? Let's make our differences into strengths. Let's just go ahead.
