Demons can cause diseases

Demons can cause diseases

Selamat siang   light of the world! Don't let your light go out. If the world defines who you are, then it can define what you can do. If your values change according to circumstances, they are not values, but advertising slogans. " News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them . (Matthew 4:24, NIV) ❖ " When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick . " (Matthew 8:16, NIV) ❖ " Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned . " (Romans 5:12, NIV) ❖ " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in CHRIST JESUS our LORD ."  (Romans 6:23, NIV) GOD is not the author of disease . Sickness is one of the consequences of the entrance of sin into the world (Romans 5:12, Romans 6:23). From the moment Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they not only exposed themselves to death (spirit, soul, and body), but they also caused the curse of the land (Genesis 3:16; Genesis 3:17-18).  The ground is cursed because sin is in the world. Life is the nature of GOD while death is the nature of the devil. Since sickness leads to death, it is common to hear believers say that the devil is the author of sickness. Just as he is the author of sin and lies from the beginning (1 John 3:8; John 8:44). This does not mean that every disease is caused by a demon or that a demon is systematically present in the body of every sick person . Whatever the circumstances, one must pray and ask for the assistance of the HOLY SPIRIT . Demons can cause and aggravate diseases. They can also delay and prevent healing . There are demons that go away simply by exercising one's faith or the authority received in JESUS CHRIST. Others go away only after true repentance, intercession on behalf of others (the case of Job), the forgiveness of an offense, praise, and thanksgiving, prayer of authority, a prayer of agreement, prophetic declaration, an exercise of a spiritual gift, fasting coupled with prayer and meditation on the Word, or obedience to a specific recommendation of the LORD. To date, I have personally experienced three miraculous healings in my life. The first time was when I was a child. I said in my mind " LORD, I don't want to go to the hospital and be hospitalized. Please heal me ." An hour later, much to the surprise of my maternal grandmother, my mother (a nurse), and the pediatrician who had just arrived home, I was perfectly healthy. The week before, my younger sister had been hospitalized for five days. The pediatrician had come to check on her. The second time, I was dying. The story would take too long to tell in this article. The third time, I was praising and giving thanks. I didn't expect a miracle. I thought he was going to heal me with medicine. I was telling GOD that whatever happens, I bless him and give thanks because I know my future is in his hands. I was saying Hallelujah! Praise the LORD GOD, my Father .  These were not religious Hallelujahs.  I had a rhema behind every statement. To every thought sent by the demons, I responded with a Hallelujah. I didn't realize that GOD was healing me. A few days later, when I went to the hospital for more tests, I realized what he had done. The causes of a disease can be : Natural Psychological Demonic (presence of one or more demons in the body, demonic attack or witchcraft, demonic oppression, curse) A combination of the above causes Demons have mainly four ways of accessing man (spirit, soul, body): sin, ignorance, exhaustion (fatigue, burnout), and alliances (made by the persons concerned, their ascendants or descendants). In addition to this, they can influence certain places and territories because of acts committed (idolatry, syncretism, occultism, debauchery, murders, abortions, etc.) or the rejection of the Gospel. Demons can oppress the minds of unbelievers, souls and bodies of believers and unbelievers. They can also influence circumstances. Many Bible teachers claim that there is at least one demonic influence behind every mental illness and behavioral disorder. I firmly believe that this is true in most cases, but to date, I do not have enough experience, hindsight, argument, and conviction to say that this is always the case. Whatever the circumstances, one must pray and ask for the assistance of the HOLY SPIRIT . The devil can delay healing without a demon being present in the body of the patient. He can, for example, cause a medical error. For my part, I cannot imagine that one can pray for healing without praying for the people who take care of the sick person (doctors, nurses, caregivers). The devil recruits everywhere, it is not enough to be well-intentioned to be a good doctor, and even good doctors can make mistakes. Moreover, artificial intelligence in medicine is neither an infused science nor a perfect science. Examples in the Bible of people who are sick because of a demonic influence Job (Job 2:7) The woman who was crippled for eighteen years (Luke 13:11-16). As I have explained in previous articles, JESUS is GOD, and he is the Word made flesh. Therefore, everything he says contains spiritual truth. He called her a daughter of Abraham, not just because she was Jewish, but because she had faith. JESUS laid his hands on her, and she was healed. He apparently had not cast out any demons. Yet he said that Satan had held her bound for eighteen years (Luke 13:16). The blind and mute man (Matthew 12:22) The mute man (Matthew 9:32-33) The deaf and dumb child (Mark 9:25-27) The man from Gadara (Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 5:1-10). To the Jews, it was obvious that this man was under the influence of demons. But unbelievers would say that he was suffering from dementia. The man who spoke under the influence of an unclean spirit in the synagogue at Capernaum (Mark 1:23-27; Luke 4:35). To the Jews, this man was under the influence of demons, but unbelievers would say he was suffering from dementia. GOD can heal in different ways:  a revelation of his word (his love, redemption, authority in JESUS, a specific word), care, medicine, prayer, laying on of hands, anointing with oil, etc. Again, whatever the circumstances, one must pray and ask for the assistance of the HOLY SPIRIT . JESUS said to a paralytic, « You are healed. Do not sin any more, lest something worse happen to you . » (John 5:14). He could give a similar recommendation to each of us in a specific area. " Here you are healed " could be replaced with "Here you are forgiven / delivered / set free / blessed / restored / heard / graduated / debt free / married / pregnant / taught / warned / consecrated / saved / etc." I deduce and conclude with the following two points: There are graces that we should not take for granted. What is a given for you, is not necessarily a given for your neighbor and vice versa. GOD can do everything, but he will do everything in the same way. What GOD has done for us or through us, does not absolve us of the responsibility to flee from sin. **   Selamat siang = Good morning in Malay (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia) ** Selamat siang = Bonjour en malais (Brunei, Indonésie, Malaisie) Pour aller plus loin (liste non exhaustive) Healing the Sick: A Divine Healing Classic for Everyone, by T.L. Kamisaraki committed to CHRIST! Maitei investor in CHRIST! You will be called the reward of a mother and the pride of a nation. Until then, be wise and humble. He who is faithful in managing small things receives greater things (Luke 16:10-12). He acquires the ability to manage, protect, and multiply greater things. He who is faithful in managing the property of others receives what is personally intended for him (Luke 16:10-12). He receives credibility, know-how, discernment, creativity, accessibility, and opportunities. He who is faithful to GOD, to the vision GOD has given him, to the mission GOD has entrusted to him, is blessed, prosperous in every way, and covered by GOD (Matthew 7:24-27, Mark 8:36, 3 John 1:2-3). Their name is a blessing, and they leave a good inheritance to their descendants (Proverbs 10:6-7, Proverbs 13:22). May this be your blessing and that of your household. Be committed, an investor and entrepreneur in CHRIST and for CHRIST. Clear your field. Plow your land. Watch over your nursery . (Proverbs 27 : 25 - 27, NKJ) Stock market indices A stock market index is a numerical indicator of the performance of a financial market, a sector of activity, or an economy (geographical area or monetary zone) . It is called a stock market index because it only includes securities listed on the stock market. Stock market indices evolve in line with the prices of the financial securities that comprise them. They are calculated in different ways. Some are calculated using a weighted average of market capitalization (e.g., the CAC 40 in France). Thus, the larger a company is (in terms of capitalization), the more weight it has on the evolution of the stock market index. Other indices are calculated based on the weighted average price of shares (e.g., the Dow Jones in the United States). In this case, the higher the price of a share, the greater the impact that share will have on the index. Stock market indices have no market value. They cannot be bought or sold. They are used only to measure, inform, compare, and index. Either their value (expressed in points) is measured, or their variation (expressed in percentages) is measured. There are hundreds of stock market indices. At a minimum, there is one index per stock exchange, and more for large stock exchanges. Examples : Dow Jones (New York) : 30 largest American and global companies. It is the oldest and best-known stock market index in the world. Created in 1896, it is the benchmark index for the global financial market. Founded in 1792, the New York Stock Exchange is the largest in the world. It alone represents 50% of the global market. Nasdaq : an index representing US technology stocks (internet, IT, biotechnology, etc.), calculated on the basis of several thousand stocks. S&P 500 : the 500 largest companies listed in the United States. MSCI World : international companies located in 23 countries. Kospi 200 (South Korea) : the 200 largest South Korean companies listed on the Seoul Stock Exchange. Nikkei 225 (Japan): 225 largest market capitalizations on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. CAC 40 (France) : 40 largest market capitalizations on the Paris Stock Exchange. SBF 80 (France) : The 80 largest market capitalizations after the CAC 40 SBF 120 : 120 stocks among the top 200 market capitalizations on the Paris Stock Exchange (40 stocks from the CAC 40 + 80 stocks from the SBF 80). CAC PME : dedicated to French SMEs listed on the Paris Stock Exchange (weighted across all stocks). AEX (Netherlands) : The 25 most actively traded stocks on the Amsterdam stock exchange. Amsterdam Exchanges All-Share index : All stocks listed on Euronext Amsterdam. Nifty 50 (India) : The top 50 companies from 22 sectors in India. JTOPI or South Africa Top 40 : 40 largest listed companies in South Africa. Nigeria Stock Exchange All Share : 202 largest market capitalizations in Nigeria. S&P Latin America 40 : 40 largest market capitalizations in Latin America. 2. Trackers (ETFs) + Bonus An ETF (Exchange Traded Fund), also known as a tracker, is an index fund that seeks to closely track the performance of a stock market index, both upwards and downwards. ETFs represent a market, an industry sector, or an investment strategy. They are investment funds (portfolios of financial securities) issued by approved management companies. They invest in the financial securities that make up the index. For example, the S&P 500 ETF invests in the 500 companies in the index. It is called a tracker because it tracks an index. The main objective of ETFs is to capture the overall performance of a market, industry, geographic region, currency zone, set of securities, or companies. There are equity ETFs (accumulating or distributing dividends), bond ETFs, sector ETFs (agriculture, energy, technology, pharmaceuticals, etc.), environmentally responsible ETFs, cryptocurrency ETFs, commodity ETFs, renewable energy ETFs, leveraged ETFs, etc. There are thousands of ETFs. ETFs are held in securities accounts or life insurance accounts. Like all listed securities, ETFs (ETF shares) can be easily bought and sold on the stock market (by placing orders through a financial intermediary). Investing in ETFs allows you to invest in several companies at once. Stock market indices and the list of stocks that comprise them are public. ETF management is transparent and automated. 🙂 When I invest in ETFs, I know what I am investing in. ETF management fees are very low. They are ideal for those who prefer passive management or who invest for the long term. However, there is no such thing as zero risk. You should not choose an ETF at random. Consider your objectives, your investment horizon, the tax impact and/or your company's tax regime. Look at the performance history. ETFs are indexed to stock market indices, currencies, or business sectors. If the index loses value, so does the ETF. If the ETF is in a foreign currency, currency fluctuations are added to those of the index. Some ETFs may not be easy to resell. Invest wisely and gradually. If possible, choose a financial intermediary that allows you to invest small amounts in local and foreign ETFs. Bonus The world's first index fund was created in 1975 by John C. Bogle, a Christian who faithfully gave his tithes. He is the founder of the Vanguard Mutual Fund Group (created in 1974 in the United States) and author of the highly acclaimed book The Little Book of Common Sense Investing. This book is a reference work on investing. ** Kamisaraki = Good morning in Aymara (Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Chile) ** Maitei = Good morning in Guarani (Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil)

Blood transfusion: Yes, but under certain conditions and with precautions

Blood transfusion: Yes, but under certain conditions and with precautions

Labas rytas saved! Hello healing! GOD watches over you. Remain in truth, faith, and love. What the Bible says: love your neighbor, give your life, and do not eat blood What science says: benefits, dangers, and alternatives What I think: yes, but under certain conditions and with precautions ❖ (Matthew 22:37-40 French KJV): "JESUS replied, 'You shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  38 This is the first and greatest commandment.  39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself .  40 On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.'" ❖ (John 15:12-13, NKJV): "This is my command: Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. " ❖ (Leviticus 17:10-14, NIV): " 10 If any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them eats any blood , I will set my face against that person and cut him off from his people .  11 For the life of a being is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.  I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. 12 Therefore I have said to the Israelites, 'None of you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.  13 If any Israelite or any stranger sojourning among them hunts an animal or a bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust. 14 For the life of every creature is its blood, which is in it. Therefore I have said to the Israelites, 'You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off .'" What the Bible says: love your neighbor, give your life, and do not eat blood The two greatest commandments in the Bible are to love GOD and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-40). Loving your neighbor as yourself means treating them with dignity, respecting them, and wishing them well as you would yourself. This implies being willing to do good to them and doing so to the best of your ability. Loving your neighbor more than yourself will make you dependent on their opinion. Loving them less than yourself will lead you to despise them and willingly cause them harm. Loving your neighbor is proof that we love ourselves and that we love GOD. Those who truly love love GOD, love themselves, and love their neighbor. We can only give what we have. Love has its source and its fulfillment in GOD. For GOD is Love and Truth from the beginning and for eternity. He is the first to love. Receiving His love leads us to love ourselves and enables us to love our neighbor. We realize that, like us, he or she is a wonderful creature  created by GOD. JESUS asks us to love one another as He has loved us (John 15:13). He says that there is no greater love than to lay down one's life for others (John 15:13). He asks us to do as He did, out of love and to the best of our ability. To give one's life is to give of oneself. It is to devote part of one's life to something other than oneself . It is to risk one's life for others . GOD tells us that life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). Life is spiritual before it is physical (Genesis 1:27-30, Job 32:8, John 3:3-7, John 1:12-13, Ephesians 2:1). We are living spirits in physical bodies (see the Spirit and Soul  series). The new birth is spiritual and not physical (John 3:3-5, 1 Corinthians 15:45). GOD created the spirits of Adam and Eve before forming their bodies (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:7, Spirit and Soul: The Beginning ).  JESUS is the perfect example. He already existed before the HOLY SPIRIT formed a physical body for him (see the article JESUS CHRIST: eternal, angel of the LORD, and GOD the LORD ). He was already the son of GOD. He gave his life, his blood, for us. For more than 2,000 years, his blood has been speaking (John 1:7-9, Hebrews 12:24, Hebrews 9:14, Hebrews 10:22). He rose again. His blood was shed only once, but it speaks in our favor eternally. Spiritually and physically, there is no life beyond that of JESUS (Colossians 2:9-10, Philippians 2:9, Ephesians 1:20-21, Hebrews 12:24) . He is the fulfillment of love, truth, and justice. Since life is both spiritual and physical, receiving a person's blood means receiving a part of their life. Either we receive a part of their physical life, or we receive a part of their spiritual life, or we receive a part of both. It is therefore possible to expose ourselves to a blessing or a curse if we receive a blood transfusion. This is not a matter of opinion. Either you read your Bible, or you don't. GOD forbids us to eat (consume) blood (Leviticus 17:10-14, Genesis 9:4, Deuteronomy 12:23-25, Acts 15:20). He says so in both the Old and New Testaments. It is forbidden to make blood into food . He clearly states the blood of no creature. Consuming blood dishonors GOD, disobeys GOD, and exposes us to dangers (curses and diseases). It is clearly written to eat and not to  give . Nowhere in the Bible is it forbidden to give blood to save others. Quite the contrary. We are called to give ourselves for others. We are called to be inspired by JESUS . Giving blood to save someone is a proof of love. Those who give blood offer a part of their life to save their neighbor . It is a way of obeying the second greatest commandment (Matthew 22:37-40, John 15:12-13). We all agree that a soldier who defends his country, a firefighter who extinguishes fires and saves lives, a police officer who is shot while on duty, gives his life for others. Whether they live or die in the line of duty, we recognize that they are giving or have given their lives for others. As far as I am concerned, the same is true for those who give their blood.  What science says: benefits, risks, and alternatives Blood transfusion is a medical treatment that involves injecting blood, one of its components, and/or blood derivatives intravenously. These include red blood cells, platelets, and plasma . Blood is composed of plasma and blood cells. Plasma is the liquid that contains blood cells and clotting factors. Its roles are: transporting these elements to all tissues in the body, maintaining blood pressure, regulating the water content of tissues. Plasma transfusions are sometimes necessary for: People in intensive care who are being treated by restoring blood volume. People with hemophilia (whose blood does not clot), immune deficiencies, or certain autoimmune diseases.  People with bleeding disorders, certain cancers, or certain liver diseases. Blood cells are produced by the bone marrow. They are: red blood cells, or erythrocytes, which contain hemoglobin used to transport oxygen; white blood cells or leukocytes, which defend the body against infection; platelets, which help the blood to clot in the event of bleeding.  Red blood cell  transfusions are necessary in cases of severe anemia that the body cannot tolerate. Without a transfusion, the patient may die or suffer serious consequences (irreversible brain damage, heart attack, etc.). Anemia is a decrease in the level of red blood cells (with hemoglobin below normal values). Either the bone marrow does not produce enough of them, or they are destroyed in the body, or they are lost due to blood loss (e.g., hemorrhage, accident, surgery, etc.). Iron deficiency anemia is linked to a lack of iron or poor iron utilization by the body. Iron deficiency causes a decrease in hemoglobin production in the bone marrow. Platelet  transfusions are necessary in cases of thrombocytopenia (abnormal decrease in platelet count). Thrombocytopenia can be observed or anticipated. Either: The bone marrow no longer produces enough platelets (e.g., cancer, chemotherapy). A disease destroys or affects platelets after they are produced, when they are circulating in the blood (examples: HIV, hepatitis B). Transfusions carry risks, especially for the recipient: allergic reactions, bacterial and viral infections, fever and chills, transfusion of too much blood, incompatible blood types. Donor blood is tested before being collected and transfused. However, there is no such thing as zero risk. Furthermore, not all countries are on the same level. Neither are all hospitals. There are countries where blood transfusions have wreaked havoc. People have received blood transfusions containing the HIV virus. In countries where transfusions are permitted, doctors must obtain the consent of the patient (parents or persons designated by the patient) before the transfusion.  Not everyone can be a blood donor. A recipient cannot receive blood from just any donor.  Several criteria must be met . From a medical  point of view, blood transfusion is a treatment. It is not a prescription that doctors give to those who do not want to swallow bitter pills.  To date, the alternative to blood transfusion is iron infusion, often supplemented by the injection of a hormone to stimulate the bone marrow cells that produce red blood cells. A preventive alternative is to take iron supplements . Unfortunately, these alternatives are not sufficient, possible, or accessible in all cases .   My opinion: yes, but with conditions and precautions Everyone is free to decide whether to give or receive a blood transfusion based on their understanding, convictions, and specific guidance from the LORD. My goal is not to convince you or tell you what to do. It is to give you information so that you can make choices based on the truth. " Whatever does not proceed from faith is sin " (Romans 14:23). Some people say that GOD forbids blood transfusions. This is completely false! What GOD forbids is consuming blood as food. Giving blood to a sick person is not feeding them, but performing an act of love for your neighbor in the image of what JESUS did . Blood transfusions save lives.  That said, it is not something to be taken lightly, either for the donor or, even more so, for the recipient. Not all blood is safe to receive. There is no such thing as zero risk. The recipient may be exposed to contamination or physical and spiritual side effects. That is why I say yes, but with conditions and precautions. Conditions : After an alternative to blood transfusion has been considered or, if possible, tried. That the donor and recipient act according to their personal convictions and/or those received from GOD. Precautions : Pray invoking the blood of JESUS. Pray in tongues. Take the Lord's Supper with faith. It does not matter if the donor or recipient is a family member or close relative. If possible, find out if you can be a donor for a family member (spouse, parent, child, brother, sister). As much as possible, take iron supplements to prevent iron deficiency. Example: if you know you will be undergoing surgery in a few weeks, add iron supplements to your diet according to the instructions. ** Labas rytas = Good morning in Lithuanian

Don't be afraid, GOD is and will be with you.

Don't be afraid, GOD is and will be with you.

Hello promise! Hello blessing! Who is like GOD? No one, absolutely no one. " There is none like you, O LORD! You are great, and your name is great in might ." (Jeremiah 10:6) " Faith is the ability to believe in the impossible, to see the invisible, and to trust in the unknown. " (Nelson Mandela, 1918 - 2013) ❖   I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you . (Psalms 32:8, NIV) ❖ " No one is like you, LORD! You are great, and your power contributes to the greatness of your reputation . Who could not fear you, King of the nations? Yes, you alone are to be feared, for among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you ." (Jeremiah 10:6-7, NIV) ❖   He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.   Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;  but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength . They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31, NIV) ❖  "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future . Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. " (Jeremiah 29:11-13, NIV) GOD has great and wonderful plans for our lives. Through us, He wants to save, edify, heal, comfort, restore, build, correct, and expand. He wants to make us channels and sources of blessings. Each of us, in our own way, is called to be an intercessor, a problem solver, a barrier breaker, a builder, a book translated into various languages for a multitude. GOD's plans are great and wonderful. But not knowing how they will be accomplished can be intimidating. Examples :  Limiting thoughts such as: I can't do it, it's too difficult, I'm going to fail, I don't know anything about it, it's not my field, I don't know anyone who has had this idea, who has done this, who has done that, who has already been through this, etc. Fear of failure and/or disappointment Fear of disappointing others Fear of success or change Fear of separation or of no longer being available for a loved one. The feeling of not being good enough or not being the right person. The feeling of not deserving, sometimes linked to guilt. Doubt, which can lead to procrastination and denial. Stress, stemming from the feeling of never doing enough, being slow, or never having enough time. Impostor syndrome: feelings of doubt and inadequacy despite one's skills, experience, achievements, training, and sincere and genuine recognition from others. These thoughts and feelings must be rejected. For GOD does not speak to frighten us . He wants what is best for you and your household. JESUS gave his life for you. You don't give your life for someone you don't love. Therefore, we have no reason to be afraid. He says ,  " For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope . " (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV) Remember that the purpose of prophecy  is to help you manage the present well and reach GOD's future. More specifically, it is to help you make the right decisions, be well prepared, have the right attitude, and avoid the devil's traps. GOD does not expect you to be able to do everything overnight, alone, in a single day . He does not intend to abandon you to yourself. He is not an inspector who only comes around from time to time to tell you that you haven't done this, haven't done enough of that, or that you've done this, that, and the other thing wrong. He is a father, a teacher, an advisor, a coach, a friend, a brother.  He says, " I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you " (Psalm 32:8, NIV) . He will accompany you every step of the way, through every season. He will give you time to learn what you need to learn. He will explain what you need to understand. You will move forward step by step. JESUS himself, in his human form, was a baby, a child, a teenager, before becoming an adult. Moving forward step by step is not moving slowly . It is moving forward gradually . It is moving forward without going backwards. At first it is slow, but as you go along you gain speed and you will have a snowball effect . Parenthesis The snowball effect is an analogy with a small snowball that, as it rolls down a snowy slope, becomes a huge mass of snow by accumulating snow as it goes. In finance, the snowball effect is called the compound interest effect. See the article Market capitalization and financial capitalization . Walking in CHRIST is not like walking on a flat plain. It is becoming like CHRIST, thinking like CHRIST, speaking like CHRIST, doing like CHRIST, and acting in accordance with CHRIST. You will face challenges. You will encounter obstacles. You will make mistakes. You will learn from your victories, your mistakes, and others. Then you will show others how to do it, how to do it better, and how to avoid mistakes. You cannot accomplish GOD's will without GOD. He reveals His will to you and gradually enables you to accomplish it. He orchestrates the times and circumstances and works all things together for your good. You have the right to make mistakes and the responsibility to take responsibility for them. GOD has the responsibility to repair them. You have the right to learn and the responsibility to apply what you have learned. GOD has the responsibility to orchestrate the times and circumstances so that you can do so at the right time and in the right way. You have the choice to obey GOD. He is responsible for watching over you, guiding you, and providing for your needs. 🙂 Don't try to take on GOD's responsibilities. Do your part; He is already doing His. Trust Him. Follow the path He leads you on. GOD knows what He is doing (Jeremiah 10:6-7). He is not playing with your life. He is investing in your life. He is not playing with your future. He is preparing your future. JESUS gave Himself to save your life, not to ruin it. When I designed this website, I wanted it to be multilingual. I didn't want a website for each language, but one website for several languages. I wanted users to be able to access content in another language with a single click. I knew I would be addressing various topics. I wanted a single blog, not several blogs. So I needed a blog where I could insert different categories. At first, I thought that creating this website would only take me 30 minutes. That's the promise displayed on website hosting sites. I realized when creating mine that while the layout only takes a few minutes, customizing a website can take a lot more time. At first, I thought I would only be addressing women. But GOD made me understand that I would be writing to men and women from different places and of different ages. As I built my website, I had elements to help me make the right choices and move in the right direction.  Don't tell yourself it's impossible . Who are you to tell GOD that it's impossible or too difficult (Jeremiah 10:6-7)? Who dares to tell you to doubt when GOD tells you to believe? Ask GOD where you should start. GOD never said He would make things easy. He said He would make them possible for those who believe and walk. For those who get involved. Those who make themselves available. Those who seek Him. Those who train themselves. Those who choose to move forward, get up, and keep going. Those people will see the promises fulfilled. They will go from glory to glory. They will bless nations and generations. 🙂  GOD renews their strength and multiplies their resources (Isaiah 40:29-30). What they do has a snowball effect because GOD renews and multiplies . They give GOD something He can refine, renew, multiply, and protect. They allow themselves to be taught and guided by GOD (Psalm 32:8). They study and meditate on His words. They are in communion with GOD. They ask GOD questions. Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) said, " Faith is the ability to believe in the impossible, to see the invisible, and to trust the unknown ." GOD makes the impossible possible. He reveals the invisible. He makes known and understandable what is unknown. Don't tell yourself it's impossible . Trust in GOD. Faith is a long journey, made up of small steps forward. Take yours . GOD will guide your steps. He will renew your strength so that you can continue to move forward. He will expand and multiply your resources. You will reach your destination. You will arrive on time. A multitude will follow in your footsteps. ** Chào em = Good morning in Vietnamese **  Xin chào = Good morning  in Vietnamese

Collective Investment Organizations (CIOs)

Collective Investment Organizations (CIOs)

Zǎoshang hǎo (早上好) wisdom! Joeun achim (좋은 아침) wonder! May GOD guide your steps. May every snake and scorpion sent into your home be struck, driven away, and crushed. Do not be distracted by disbelief, criticism, and complaints. Accomplish your mission. "Cut the grass in the fields, and while the new grass is growing, gather hay on the mountains . Have sheep to make clothes for yourself, and goats to buy a field . Use the milk your goats give in abundance to feed yourself, your family, and your servants ." (Proverbs 27:25-27, French courant) " He who walks with wise men will be wise , but a companion of fools will suffer harm." (Proverbs 13:20, French KJV) Mutual funds are companies that collect, invest, and/or manage the savings of various investors . Mutual funds are made up of different types of securities. Securities are financial instruments that can be traded on the stock market. UCIs may specialize in one or more sectors of activity, geographical areas, types of securities, company sizes, innovative companies, etc. Each UCI has its own characteristics. These organizations allow investors to reduce their exposure to risk (diversification), spread their investments more widely,  gain easier access to new opportunities, achieve economies of scale, and benefit from the skills of professionals or experts .  Exposure to risk is reduced because the wide range of investments reduces the effect that a specific investment can have on the overall performance of the portfolio. Economies of scale refer to the decrease in average costs due to increased quantities. The product or service is cheaper to produce in large quantities due to the broad distribution of fixed costs and the optimization of variable costs (reduction of waste, new tools, favorable supplier rates). By purchasing shares, investors gain access to the investment organization's portfolio. Before investing, purchasers of these shares must be informed in advance of the management terms and conditions: type of financial assets, management method, objectives, fees, share price, frequency of value calculation, etc. This is so that they can choose the fund(s) best suited to their situation, objectives, and constraints. The information must be available and public. Unfortunately, this is not the case in all countries, but it should be. There are two ways of managing a mutual fund: passive management and active management. Passive management consists of replicating a stock market index. The expected performance is therefore close to that of the replicated index. Active management is based on the manager's analysis and convictions. The manager selects securities (purchases and sales) to match or exceed the performance of an index, or to achieve a specific medium- or long-term objective. The manager may purchase units of other UCIs. This is known as multi-management. Management fees for active management are generally higher than for passive management. In France, there are two types of collective investment undertakings (CIUs): UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) and AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds) . UCITS exist in all countries. They are the most common category. AIFs have specific names and characteristics in each country. They are often intended for institutional clients. Institutional clients include financial institutions, companies, government organizations, pension funds, investment funds, retirement funds, foundations, etc. The main types of UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) are FCPs and SICAVs. SICAV (open-ended investment company) :  It issues shares as and when subscription requests are made. The capital is variable and increases through the issuance of new shares (when investors buy shares). Investors who buy shares  become shareholders. They can express their views on the management of the company at general meetings (if the shares are registered) and/or stand for election to the board of directors. This is, of course, provided that they hold a certain number of shares. Some SICAVs are owned by thousands or even millions of shareholders. Priority is given to majority shareholders. SICAVs are public limited companies. Investors pay entry fees (when they buy), exit fees (when they sell) and management fees. Shareholders are free to sell their shares. The SICAV buys back the shares and pays the investor. The capital decreases but will increase again when other investors buy shares. There are two types of shares:  Accumulating or capitalization shares : the SICAV automatically reinvests dividends (profits). Distributing shares : shareholders receive dividends each year. The dividend varies from year to year. An FCP (mutual fund) is a joint ownership of securities that issues shares. An FCP is not a legal entity. The shares are either accumulating, distributing, or a combination of the two. Investors, known as holders, are not consulted. The fund is managed either by a management company (banks, insurance companies, others), which may or may not belong to the natural or legal person who created it. The FCPE (Fonds Commun de Placement d'Entreprise) is an alternative investment fund derived from the FCP (mutual fund). The saver holds units in a portfolio of financial instruments, shared with other people. This type of fund is exclusively open to employees and former employees of the same company or companies belonging to the same group. Employees' savings are paid into a PER retirement savings plan (PER) or a company savings plan (PEE). The person (legal or natural) who created the fund holds shares in the FCP. A mutual fund (FCP) should not be confused with an investment company, also known as an investment fund . An investment company is a private or public financial company whose main purpose is to invest capital in companies and business projects. It brings together several investors who pool their funds so that they can be invested in listed and/or unlisted companies. Subject to certain criteria, investment companies can be created by governments, individuals, or financing organizations. An investment company may hold and/or manage several funds, known as mutual funds (FCP) . By "hold," I mean that it controls the largest number of shares. This company may or may not be a SICAV. Banks, for example, have several mutual funds but are not SICAVs. Banks may be commercial and/or investment banks. If the bank belongs to a banking group, it is highly likely that the management of the FCP will be entrusted to a company belonging to the group. Confusion arises from the similarity of the names. The trap is to believe that because the person (legal or natural) who created the fund is successful and well-known, all of their mutual funds (FCP) are performing well . This is not necessarily the case. There are three main reasons for this: The person (legal or natural) who created the mutual fund may have several sources of income. The management, entry, and exit fees of the mutual fund may represent only a small portion of the income. Each mutual fund is unique, with different levels of risk exposure. Suppose that the headquarters of the company that created the mutual fund is located in a prosperous country and that the mutual fund's assets have been invested in companies based in countries at war. Or suppose that the company that created the fund is located in a country at war and that the funds have been invested in high-potential companies in fast-growing countries. In both cases, the fund's performance alone cannot explain the results of the company that created it. The time factor. What is effective or profitable today may not be so tomorrow, and vice versa. 🙂 Example Let's imagine the Prospère banking group (fictitious name), 55% owned by the Gloire company. Let's assume that the group owns several institutions, including two commercial banks, a private bank, an investment bank, an insurance company, and a fund management company. With the exception of one commercial bank and the fund management company, all institutions are named after the group, which is also the trade name. Thus, commercial bank 1 is Prosperous Bank. Commercial bank 2 is Heritage. The private bank is Prosperous Private Bank. The investment bank is Prosperous Investments. The insurance company is Prosperous Insurance. The management company is Prudent Management. Prudence Gestion manages the mutual funds (FCP) of all the institutions in the group. Each mutual fund has different characteristics and objectives. Let's assume that the investment bank has 10 mutual funds and that the other institutions in the group each have two mutual funds listed on the stock exchange and one unlisted mutual fund. Each of the mutual funds is known by a name beginning with Prospère. Example: Prospère FCP 1A, etc. Let's assume that we can buy shares in the Prosperous group, buy units in the mutual funds, or buy shares and units in one or more mutual funds. The Prosperous group may or may not be listed on the stock exchange. Let's assume that we have purchased shares and units of two mutual funds. If the Prosperous group makes a profit, we will receive dividends. The mutual fund units will be remunerated according to the fund's performance, regardless of whether the group incurs losses or not. The group will only receive the amount of the entry, exit, and management fees from the mutual funds. Gloire is not listed on the stock exchange. Whether or not the Prosperous Group is listed on the stock exchange does not change the previous point. The trap is to believe that because the Prosperous group is prosperous and the mutual funds were created by the Prosperous group's institutions, they are all performing well. This is not necessarily the case. Why? ** Zǎoshang hǎo (早上好) = Good morning in simplified Chinese ** Joeun achim (좋은 아침) = Good morning in Korean

Prophesying: edifying, exhorting, and comforting while honoring GOD

Prophesying: edifying, exhorting, and comforting while honoring GOD

Hei bud! Habari za asubuhi trumpet! May discernment, wisdom, and patience be yours. May gratitude never leave you. May GOD reward your faithfulness. May the blood of JESUS speak for you and yours. May the Word of CHRIST dwell abundantly in you. May angels ascend and descend upon your house. Behold, a new season is coming! " Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth ; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise . " (Isaiah 43: 19-21, NKJV) " Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the SPIRIT . You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from GOD. For there are many false prophets in the world ." (1 John 4:1, NLT) " Do not quench the SPIRIT. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good ." (1 Thessaloniciens 5:19-21, NKJV) " But he that prophesies speaks to men [in] edification, and encouragement, and consolation ." ( 1 Corinthians 14:3, Darby Translation) By meditating on the Word and listening to our inner witness, it becomes easy to distinguish between a false prophecy, a word of faith, a personal conviction, a prophecy, a prophetic declaration (the creative word), a word of encouragement (the strengthening word), a word of knowledge (a supernatural revelation of a past event or present situation), and a false word of knowledge. That being said, it is always possible to be mistaken. This is why, in addition to the Word and our inner witness, we must pray, keep our hearts at peace, and allow others to judge (but not just anyone). In the biblical sense, prophesying is speaking on behalf of GOD . It means saying what GOD says, what GOD has said, or interpreting what GOD shows (vision, dream) . Either one announces an event or a future fact on behalf of GOD, or one indicates a specific will of GOD. In short, it is conveying a message from GOD. Just as GOD speaks in different ways, those who prophesy can convey prophecy in different ways (words, songs, drawings, prayers, films, books). Those who can prophesy are: GOD, angels, and humans (including women and young people). Personally, I believe there are two types of prophecies: - GOD's promises (commitments, judgments) : these are sealed (future events or facts). GOD said He will do or allow something to happen. Whatever happens, the announced event will take place. It is what He has decided of His own free will. What He will accomplish or bring to pass. With or without us, no matter what the devil does or tries, it will be accomplished. - GOD'S will : it is conditional. Its fulfillment depends on the faith and obedience of those for whom it is intended. It is what GOD wants to do and/or what He wants us to do. 🙂 The purpose of prophecy is not to announce what will happen in the future. I repeat, the purpose of prophecy is not to announce what will happen in the future. Stop for a moment and think about the meaning of this sentence. I am writing to you as an intercessor, teacher, and prophetess. I insist again, stop for a moment and think about it. The purpose of prophecy is not to announce a future event. Prophecy is more than announcing a coming event, a new season, a future position, etc. The purpose of prophecy is to reveal, make understandable, or make known a promise or a will of GOD . A prophecy can be for one or more people. A prophecy can simultaneously and/or progressively be for one or more people . Thus, the time of the prophecy can be the present, the near future, or the distant future . Example: While reading your Bible, a particular verse speaks to you. You have an inner testimony that this verse, this phrase, is for you. Do you believe that you are the only person in the world to whom GOD has ever spoken through this verse? The answer is no. There are more than six billion people in the world, and I don't know how many billions of people have lived and will live after us. GOD has spoken, speaks, and will speak to others as well, through this verse. Someone who announces a future event is not necessarily prophesying . That person may be speaking based on experience, observation, reasoning, analysis, intuition, what they have heard other people say, or what Satan or demons have told them. When a soccer coach, and I mean a real coach with experience, says to a young beginner, “ You'll go far. You'll become a great player. You have great potential. ” What is he basing this on? When an instructor tells a student, “ At this rate, you're going to have an accident. ” What is he basing his statement on? When a doctor tells a terminally ill patient, “ At this stage and at this point in time, medicine has no solution. You don't have long to live ." What is he basing this on? When a mother insists that her child be examined even though he seems fine. What is she basing this on? These people rely on their experience, observation, reasoning, analysis, or intuition. They have encouraged, warned, informed, and alerted. But they did not prophesy. They did not lie. They may have been inspired by GOD. But, they did not prophesy. They drew conclusions by observing facts or probabilities. Those who prophesy do not always speak in complicated, difficult-to-understand language or in code . It happens, but it is not always the case. There are many different examples in the Bible. The prophecies about JESUS CHRIST are excellent examples. The purpose of prophecy is to build up, exhort, and comfort by revealing the thoughts, promises (judgments, commitments, decisions), or will of GOD (1 Corinthians 14:3). This is done by honoring Him, honoring His word, and treating people with dignity . To edify is to instruct, build up, and lead others to virtue and devotion to GOD by example. Virtue is defined as the firm and constant habit of doing good and avoiding evil. To exhort is to encourage and inspire others to do good. It is to strengthen them in goodness. Courage is the moral strength to say and do what is right, to stand by one's convictions, to maintain one's decisions in the face of trials, difficulties, and unforeseen events. To console is to bring comfort, to relieve someone of their pain or grief. It is also to exhort a person who is grieving or going through a difficult time. By GOD's thoughts, I mean GOD's truth. His interpretation of a situation, an event, or a person. For GOD has no opinion, He only has the truth . If GOD were a person like you and me, I would say GOD's opinion and not GOD's thoughts. But GOD is GOD: He is eternally and perfectly Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Transcendent, Immutable. He is Love, Truth, and Holiness. GOD never lies . He is never wrong. Just as a cacao tree cannot produce papayas, truth cannot produce lies. He does not need to lie. He creates all things by his word. He cannot lie. He himself says that he hates lies. We have opinions because our understanding and knowledge are limited. Very often, we only have appearances, facts, and our interpretation of the past. But GOD does not have our limitations. He does not have our faults. He knows what has been, what is, what could be, and what will be. Once again, GOD has no opinion, he only has the truth. GOD can show a person an event that will happen in the future, without that event being His will. He has given prophetic information to that person. The prophecy begins when He tells that person how to behave in relation to that event . Examples : Revealing GOD's thoughts and plans (Amos 3:7, Ephesians 3:5, 2 Peter 1:19-21, 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21). Revealing His law and will to mankind (Ezra 9:10-11, Jeremiah 7:25-26, 1 Thessalonians 2:12-13). Calling people to repentance (Zechariah 1:4, 2 Kings 17:13; Isaiah 58:1, Acts 3:19). Announcing and proclaiming salvation (Isaiah 53:3-8, Acts 10:43, 1 Peter 1:10, Ephesians 3:5-6). Edifying, exhorting, and comforting believers (Ezra 5:1, 1 Corinthians 14:3, Isaiah 40:1). Announcing His judgments (Jeremiah 1:5, Jeremiah 1:16-17; 2 Chronicles 24:20; Acts 17:30-31). Announcing future events (Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:5, Micah 5:1, Isaiah 53:4-8, Acts 21:10-11, Daniel 2:28-30, Zechariah 9:9, Revelation 1:1, Zechariah 12:10, Psalms 22:17-19). Angels who prophesy (Zechariah 1:14-17, Daniel 8:16, Luke 1:11, Luke 1:30, Matthew 1:20) To prophesy is to convey a message from GOD. GOD is therefore the one who inspires the message, sends the messenger, and confirms the message. If, then, the message is inspired by GOD, it cannot contradict the Scriptures, the divine principles recorded in the Bible. Otherwise, it is not from GOD. For GOD is his word. To prophesy is to edify, exhort (strengthen), and console in accordance with GOD's will. Therefore, giving information, whether known or hidden, is not prophesying. Giving a name, a phone number, a date of birth, or the location of a wedding is not prophesying. It is giving information. The information may help identify the recipient of the message, but it is not the message. The information may be part of the message, but it is not the message. The message is the will of GOD. Whether this prophecy is a promise (commitment, judgment, decision) or a desire, what attitude, character, focus, or actions should you have (present) or will you need to have (future)? Remember, the purpose of prophecy is not to announce what will happen in the future. 🙂 It is to help you well manage the present and reach GOD's future. More precisely, it is to help you make the right decisions, have the right preparation, the right attitude, and avoid the devil's traps . Do not accept all words, examine them and retain only those that are good (1 John 4:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21). Neither be afraid, neither be proud. ** Hei = Hello in Norwegian ** Habari za asubuhi = Good morning in Swahili

Salamno , visionary! Naimbag a bigat , descendant of Abraham! “ The LORD is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance .” (2 Peter 3:9, NIV) The LORD is not slow. He is waiting for you to grow. For you to gain wisdom. For you to exercise your intelligence. For you to dare. For you to move forward. For you to sow. For your motivations to be good. For your prayers to be sincere. For your character to be like that of CHRIST. He is not slow; he is waiting for you. Yes, you believe. But do you believe enough to commit yourself? Do you believe enough to obey? Do you believe enough to start? “Cut the grass in the fields and, while the new grass grows, gather hay on the mountains . Have sheep to make clothes for yourself, and goats to buy a field. Use the milk your goats give in abundance to feed yourself, your family, and your servants .” (Proverbs 27:25-27, Fluent french translation) A receivable is a sum of money owed by a client (whether a legal entity or an individual). The receivable can be commercial (a sale not yet paid) or financial (a loan). This person has made a loan or delivered a product or service to their customer and, by granting them a payment period, the amount owed becomes a receivable. The receivable is the amount that must be paid to the supplier. Their customer is a creditor. For the customer, this receivable is a debt. The supplier is a debtor. Securitization of receivables is a process whereby a legal entity converts its receivables into negotiable securities on the financial markets. The supplier, known as the assignor, entrusts its receivables to a specialized institution, which converts them into negotiable securities. Securitization can be full (traditional) or synthetic. When it is full or traditional, the receivables become debt securities. When it is synthetic, the credit risk becomes a debt security. A debt security is a security representing the holder's claim on the issuer of the security . It is an acknowledgment of debt. The security is negotiable when it can be traded (sold). In Europe, it is customary to simply say “debt security” rather than “negotiable debt security.” Purchasers of the securities will be repaid through debt payments (cash flows). They receive interest while awaiting repayment of their principal. Upon repayment of the principal, the securities are said to have been redeemed by the issuer (the supplier). Types of debt securities : NEU CP (Negotiable Euro Commercial Paper) : issued in the short and medium term. In France, they replace Negotiable Certificates of Deposit (CDN), Commercial Paper (BT) and Negotiable Medium-Term Notes (BMTN). Negotiable Certificates of Deposit (CDN) : term of between one day and one year. Commercial Paper (BT) : short term, exclusively reserved for companies. Issuers and purchasers are companies. Negotiable Medium-Term Notes (BMTN) : term of more than one year, no maturity limit, fixed rate. Negotiable Treasury Bills: issued by governments. Bonds : see previous articles. ** Salamno = Good morning in Amharic (Ethiopia) ** Naimbag a bigat = Naimbag a bigat = Good morning in Ilocano, also known as Ilokano and Iloco (Philippines)

Assiari beautiful nation! Kutshi great nation! Great and wonderful are GOD's plans for you. You are not a default choice. You were chosen from the beginning. GOD knows the end from the beginning . He is not surprised by any event. We discern the times. He discerns the hearts. He orchestrates circumstances and creates times (Daniel 2:21). When the devil tells you that you will not succeed, tell him that GOD knew he would betray Him. Tell him that JESUS knew he would fail. Tell him that history has already proven that GOD always, yes always, has the last word. When he talks to you about your past, tell him that your present and your future are in CHRIST. But his end is known from the beginning and for eternity. GOD does not invest to lose. He will not lose you, and he will not lose what he has invested in you. He will not lose you, and he will not lose what he has invested in you. You are blessed with a blessing that cannot be stolen. Oh praise GOD your FATHER! Oh cheer the LORD your big brother! Oh honor your guardian the HOLY SPIRIT! 🙂 Upon your life, I call the oil of joy! With your most beautiful smile, dance like David! “Cut the grass in the fields and, while the new grass grows, gather hay on the mountains . Have sheep to make clothes for yourself, and goats to buy a field. Use the milk your goats give in abundance to feed yourself, your family, and your servants .” (Proverbs 27:25-27, Fluent french translation) To finance their activities, companies can choose between increasing their capital, merging with other companies, borrowing from financial institutions, borrowing from partners, and issuing bonds. A bond is a security representing a portion of a debt. A company or a government wants to borrow money. We lend them money by buying bonds. In return, the issuer will pay the bondholders (us) coupons each year, representing interest, and will repay the principal when the bond matures. Bonds can be issued by a country, a community or a company . The life or maturity of a bond can range from a few months to an infinite period (perpetual bond). The longer the maturity, the greater the risk of non-repayment and the higher the interest rate. In the case of perpetual bonds, the issuer may reserve the right to redeem the bond at a predetermined price. The different types of bonds: Government bonds or Treasury bills (short term) or Treasury bonds (long term) : issued by a government or a community (city, region, department). Corporate bonds : issued by a private company; Convertible bonds : issued by a private company, can be converted into shares in that company. Fixed-rate bonds : interest (coupon) is at a constant rate and the frequency of payments is predefined. Example of a bond with a face value of €1,000 and an annual interest rate of 2%. The coupon paid each year will be €20 (1,000*2%). Zero-coupon bonds : no interest payments. Coupons are capitalized and paid in a lump sum at maturity. Floating rate notes : The interest rate varies from year to year and sometimes from month to month. The coupon amount is not known in advance. These bonds are indexed to the money market, bond rates, inflation rates, or a stock market index. Revisable coupon bonds : the coupon may change from fixed to variable or vice versa during the life of the bond. During their lifetime, bonds are listed on the stock exchange. Holders can resell them before maturity or buy others during their lifetime. Investors can subscribe to bonds when they are issued (the primary market) or buy them later on the stock exchange (the secondary market). On the secondary market, the buyer of the bonds pays the seller the accrued coupons. This is the portion of interest calculated on a pro rata basis for the number of days between the date of the last payment and the day before the sale. Rating agencies are responsible for assessing the ability of debt issuers to meet their commitments. The most stable issuers (in terms of economy, social factors, forecasts, etc.) are perceived as the safest. They receive very good ratings from rating agencies. This allows them to pay low coupons (interest). Conversely, the lower an issuer's rating, the higher the coupons they are forced to pay, due to the high risk taken by investors. Ratings range from AAA to D (default) . The riskier a bond is, the lower its price (selling price) will be. Bonds are listed (on the stock exchange) as a percentage of their face value, at par (without accrued interest). Example A bond trading at 90% of its face value of €1,000 is priced at €900. If the coupon is fixed at 4%, the holder will receive a coupon of €40 (1,000 * 4%) each year until maturity. For every €900 invested, the holder will receive €40 each year. Let's assume that the issuer's rating improves and it is now trading at 95%. The interest rate remains fixed at 4%. For every €995 invested, the holder will still receive €40 each year until maturity. However, they will be able to sell the bond before maturity for €995. They will make a gain of €5. Risks Interest rate increases : these systematically lead to a decline in the value of bonds. It is therefore not advisable to sell bonds when interest rates are rising. Inflation : if inflation exceeds the yield on fixed-rate bonds, bondholders will not make a profit. Inflation is the loss of purchasing power of money, resulting in a general and sustained increase in prices. The same amount of money or salary no longer buys as much as it did the previous year. Insolvency or bankruptcy of the issuer : if the issuer is unable to pay interest and repay the principal, the holder loses everything. The same applies to shareholders. A decline in the bond market as a whole : bonds lose value. Holders may be forced to sell at a loss. ** Assiari = Good morning in ngumba (Cameroon) ** Kutshi = Good morning in Tshokwe (DRC Congo)

Joeun achim   (좋은 아침) palm tree! Nín hǎo (您好) olive tree! May this week be particularly pleasant for you. May you have new ideas. May the LORD surprise you. May you have wonderful encounters. May you discover new and good opportunities. May the favor of GOD and that of men be with you. May patience and kindness spare you from unnecessary struggles . May peace reign within your walls, and tranquility within your palaces ! (Psalms 122:7) “Cut the grass in the fields and, while the new grass grows, gather hay on the mountains . Have sheep to make clothes for yourself, and goats to buy a field. Use the milk your goats give in abundance to feed yourself, your family, and your servants .” (Proverbs 27:25-27, Fluent french translation) Initially, the subject of this article was investing in unlisted securities. Along the way, I realized it would be better to start with specific articles on securities and then continue with the topic of investing (opportunities, methods, risks, and advice). The goal is to give everyone a solid foundation and a clear understanding of the terms. Our countries, ages, and contexts are different. What is known to some may not be known to others. Financial securities or transferable securities are ownership rights over part of the capital of a company, or over part of the debt of a company or a State. They can take several forms: shares, bonds, debt securities or UCIs (Collective Investment Funds) containing themselves shares, bonds or debt securities. Financial securities can be held by a legal or natural person. They can be issued by a company or a state. These are financial assets. Financial securities can be listed on the stock exchange, or unlisted. A share is a title to ownership of part of the capital of a company . The holder of a share is called a shareholder. All shareholders together constitute the company's shareholding structure. General meetings are open to all shareholders. This is not the case for board meetings. The board of directors is a group of people who represent the interests of the shareholders of a company, association, or organization. It is most often composed of the major shareholders and the company's chief executives. It guides strategy, management, and investments. Shareholders have the right to: Be informed of the results and the general activity of the company. Participate in general meetings (with or without the possibility of voting depending on the type of share or percentage of shares held). Receive dividends (portion of the profits) if the company decides to distribute them (if it makes profits). In return for these advantages, shareholders accept the risk of losing all or part of their investment in the event of the company's bankruptcy or a fall in the share price. Like any financial security, shares may be listed on a stock exchange or unlisted. If I were the finance minister of a country, particularly an underdeveloped country, I would require the government to hold at least a 5% to 10% shares in the country's 500 largest companies. Listed shares are traded on the stock exchange. The price is set by supply and demand. Unlisted shares are traded over the counter between investors. The price is set by them (direct negotiation). These shares are less liquid than listed shares. This means that they sell less quickly and the price is often not known in advance. Unlisted shares are held in registered form. Shares can be held “in bearer form” or “in registered form”: Shares held in bearer form (listed shares) : held in the holder's portfolio, but the company of which he is a shareholder does not know him. All transactions are carried out through his financial intermediary. This is the most common situation. Registered shares (listed and unlisted shares ): the shareholder is listed in the company's legal records. They are directly informed of events concerning the company by the company itself and enjoy specific benefits. Not all listed companies allow registered shares to be held. A minimum number of shares is required to hold registered shares in a listed company. Unlisted shares are held exclusively in registered form. There are common shares and preferred shares. Common shares are those referred to as shares. Preferred shares grant special privileges. They are only possible in corporations. If preferred shares are not created, all shares are considered common shares. This type of share does not exist in all countries. Regardless of the type of shares, privileges are always granted to majority shareholders. In French, there are two expressions to designate the shares of a company or an association : action and part sociale . These are titles of ownership of the share capital, differentiated according to the legal form of the company. Both are translated by shares in english. The word action is for capital companies while the expression part sociale is for partnerships companies and civil companies. Actions and parts sociales are securities that make up a company's capital (sahres). However, not to the same types of companies. Actions are shares issued by joint-stock companies. The most common are corporations, simplified joint stock companies, and limited partnerships with share capital. Parts sociales are shares issued by companies other than joint stock companies. The most common are limited liability companies, general partnerships, limited partnerships, and civil companies. parts sociales   cannot be listed on the stock exchange. The transfer of shares is more strictly regulated than that of others. For example, the company's articles of association may restrict or prohibit the sale of shares to third parties who are not shareholders or who have not been approved by the other shareholders. **   Joeun achim  (좋은 아침 ) = Good morning in Korean **   Nín hǎo) (您好) = Good morning in Mandarin (China)

Bank fees, commissions and interest

Bank fees, commissions and interest

Bonjour opportunity! Bonjour wisdom! ‘ The spirit of prophets is subject to prophets, for GOD is not a GOD of disorder, but of peace. ’ (1 Corinthians 14:32-33) GOD is not the author of confusion . Do not assert what you have not verified. Do not take what you cannot pay for. Do not promise what you cannot give. Do not give what does not belong to you. “ Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful . ” (Proverbs 27 : 6, KJV) " Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty ; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread. It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth. There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel . " (Proverbes 20:13-15, Segond 21) GOD wants us to manage our finances well. Good financial management is not just about increasing our income and multiplying our sources of income . It is about aligning our priorities with GOD's guidance, respecting His principles (following His teachings), making good use of our resources (gifts, talents, time, provisions) and honouring Him through our decisions. This means avoiding unnecessary losses, avoiding unnecessary debt, being generous for the Kingdom, showing the love of CHRIST by giving to others, ensuring a good inheritance for our descendants, working with integrity, ethics and excellence, saving, investing and diversifying our sources of income. Fees and interest are the main sources of income for banks and financial institutions. Fees are the prices charged by a bank or financial institution for carrying out a transaction, providing a product or service, or dealing with operational irregularities or payment incidents. Some services are free of charge at certain banks. In reality, institutions charge fees for a range of services with thresholds. Services that appear to be free are services that are charged for/included in a package. The fees are divided into two groups. First, fees related to transactions and services provided. Second, fees related to payment irregularities or incidents. A payment incident or irregularity corresponds to the bank's refusal to honor a payment transaction due to insufficient funds. Examples of fees related to transactions and services provided   Account and securities maintenance fees, fees for a package of services, credit card fees, fees for online banking services; Transfer fees, fees for cash withdrawals from another bank's ATM, checkbook delivery fees, bank check issuance fees, check cancellation fees charged by the issuer; Fees for issuing or reissuing documents, estate management fees; Fees for reviewing loan applications, fees for managing inactive accounts; Fees for purchasing foreign currency, cash withdrawals abroad, loan repayment interest, fees for acquiring financial securities, etc. Examples of fees related to irregularities or payment incidents Debit account interest or late fees, intervention fees, Fees for rejected checks, rejected direct debits, and transfers not executed due to insufficient funds, Advance notification letter for bounced checks, notification letter for unauthorized overdrafts, Fees for bank card cancellation by the bank, garnishment fees, or administrative seizure from third-party holders, etc. In finance, interest is the remuneration for a loan, generally in the form of a periodic payment from the borrower to the lender. For the lender, it is the price of temporarily foregoing liquidity. For the borrower, it is a cost corresponding to anticipated use of the funds. It is tempting to think that fees and interest a re not important and only worry about them when the amount is significant. It would be a mistake to think this way. You should not wait until the day before buying a property, making your first big investment, or facing a crisis (job loss, bankruptcy, excessive debt, stock market crash, natural disaster) to think about it. It is important to know how much you have in your accounts, how much your accounts cost you, and what you can do with your accounts . I'm in favor of diversification, but with wisdom . Diversification isn't done for the sake of saying you've diversified your investments, that you have accounts at different banks, or showing off your credit cards in an attempt to appear wealthy. That kind of attitude only impresses those who are ignorant. Having multiple accounts or credit cards doesn't mean you're rich. The top three reasons for diversification are: reducing risk exposure, accessing more opportunities, and improving your value chain . These aren't the only reasons, but they are the top three. One or two accounts for expenses, two or more accounts for saving and investing (personal savings, life insurance, securities accounts and other investments, specific project savings, family or children's savings or investment accounts, cryptocurrency, etc.). You need to look at the price. But also, the offer, the quality, your needs, and eventually, your aspirations. A service that appears inexpensive may turn out to be very expensive. Conversely, a service that appears expensive may turn out to be very advantageous. Take the time to get informed and think it through. Earning money honestly is good. Avoiding unnecessary losses is also good . Sometimes financial institutions charge very high fees on their investments, without this being offset by the quality of management and investment performance. A very common mistake is to think that a bank overdraft is a zero-interest loan. The overdraft facility is free, but the overdraft itself is not. An overdraft is a loan at a pre-agreed interest rate. Interest is calculated from the first day, regardless of the amount. If you are overdrawn every month, you may want to consider applying for a loan at a better rate, repayable in nine fixed monthly installments. In total, this will cost you less than the accumulated interest and fees on your overdraft. Be careful, however, not to take out loan insurance if it is not really necessary. Questions If you have an overdraft facility, how much is it for and how many days are you allowed to use it? What interest rate or fees will apply if you exceed the limit? If you have an outstanding loan, how much does it cost you? What is the interest rate? How much is the total interest? How much does your debt cost you (interest, insurance, and other fees)? If you own securitie s (financial title), how much are the quarterly management fees? How much interest do you earn on your savings? What are the guarantees of your insurance contracts and how much do they cost? Are fees being deducted from your account without you knowing why? What are the benefits of your credit card? Do you really need it? Are you making good use of these benefits? Example 1 You want to invest regularly in the stock market over the long term. For now, you are a student and don't have a large income. But that's relative. A student who is fed and housed by their family can save 5 to 10 times more than a student who is entirely self-sufficient or a recent graduate starting their career. Let's assume that for now, you can only invest small amounts and that you only want to invest in securities from companies in your country or your country's economic zone. You want to take as little risk as possible. You prefer to put your investments on autopilot. You are willing to let your bank invest for you. You will therefore choose the minimum service at the minimum rate. Example 2 You want to invest regularly in the stock market over the long term. You are not the student in the first example. You are not an expert, but you are well informed. You know the difference between different financial securities. You manage your own finances. You want to invest small amounts internationally at a reasonable rate. You want to diversify your portfolio and monitor your accounts using a powerful tool. You want simple and clear pricing. First, you need to compare your needs with what is on offer, then compare prices, and finally make a choice. If your only criterion is price, you risk choosing an offer that does not meet your needs and constantly paying fees for services that are not included in the package. Example 3 You want to invest €3,000 over 12 months, or €250 each month. You want to divide this €250 between two portfolios containing two to ten financial securities. Let's assume you are in France. Institution A charges a 3% fee on each of your payments and a 3% management fee on your entire investment per semester. In addition, this institution does not allow you to buy foreign shares below a certain amount. This means, for example, that if you want to buy shares in a company based in South Korea or the United States, you can only do so from €1,600. With this institution, it is impossible to invest €50 every month in small companies with high potential. Institution B charges a 1% fee on payments within Europe and 2% on payments outside Europe. It charges a 3.5% annual management fee on your entire investment. In addition, it allows you to invest internationally. While this may not be in every country in the world, you still have the opportunity to invest in promising companies. Institution C charges 0% on your payments and 2% in annual management fees on your entire investment. It allows you to invest internationally, in more countries than institution B. However, you can only invest in large and very large companies. These are companies that have proven themselves and are known to be solid, but their growth and dividends are low. Which institution will you choose? Now let's assume you have $3 million. Which institutions will you choose? Will you invest part of it with institution B and part with institution C?

Angels: who are they?

Angels: who are they?

Ohayou gozaimasu light ! Sawasdee (วัสดี) disciple of CHRIST ! All problems have their solutions in GOD. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise. Maturity is revealed in what we say, but also in what we refrain from doing. The scribes and Pharisees asked JESUS for a miracle (Matthew 12:38-39). He didn't do anything. GOD's will is greater and better than people's expectations . Walk in righteousness and the LORD's blessing will be with you. Angel: a title and/or function Angels: spirits serving GOD Fallen angels: Satan and his angels ❖ " And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire .” (Hebrews 1:7, NKJV) ❖ " Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?   " (Hebrews 1:14, NKJV). ❖ " And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,   but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.   So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him . " (Revelation 12: 7-9, NKJV) The word angel, in Hebrew Mal’ak (Strong's No. 4397) and in Greek aggelos (Strong's No. 32), means messenger or sent . Angels are therefore persons sent by GOD to either convey a message, perform an action, or render services on His behalf. In the Bible, the word angel is used sometimes to refer to angels (spiritual beings in the service of GOD), sometimes to JESUS, church leaders, intercessors, brothers, prophets, or more generally any person charged by GOD to do or say something. Thus, the word angel refers to a type of person (angels), a title (JESUS), or a function (men). Angel: a title and/or function JESUS is called the angel of the LORD or chief of the LORD's army in the Old Testament (Zechariah 3:1-5, Joshua 5:13-15). The SON (JESUS) is the servant of the FATHER (John 6:38, Acts 4:27). => The SON can therefore be called the angel of his FATHER. => GOD being the LORD, the SON can therefore be called the angel of the LORD. Only the SON can take away sin from human beings because only the SON has conquered sin, only the SON gave his life for human beings, only the SON is worthy to open the sealed book (Revelation 5:1:14, John 10:18, John 3:16, Ephesians 1:2). Only GOD can receive worship. No angel of GOD will accept a man bowing down before him and calling him LORD. Only GOD can multiply a person's posterity and make it so numerous that it cannot be counted (Genesis 16:7-12). Generally speaking, in the Old Testament, when it says ‘the angel of the LORD’ (definite article), it refers to JESUS. For example, JESUS is the angel of the LORD whom Moses saw in the burning bush (Exodus 3:2-4). As we saw in the article, JESUS CHRIST: eternal, angel of the LORD and GOD the LORD , he was already the SON before a physical body was formed for him by the HOLY SPIRIT. The leaders of the seven churches of Revelation (Revelation 2:1-29). Angels (spiritual beings) cannot repent. They do not need to test liars. They do not suffer for the name of JESUS, they are not poor, etc. The angels of the seven churches are first and foremost men (the leaders or heads of the churches). Secondly, they are the angels working alongside them. JESUS asks the apostle John to write to the leaders of the churches. At the same time, He asks the angels assigned to their ministry (tasked with helping them) to ensure that the message reaches them. In contemporary language, the angel of a church, ministry or Christian association is the person responsible for ensuring its smooth running. Intercessors (Job 33:23), brothers (Hebrews 13:2, 1 Timothy 5:21), prophets (Chariot of Israel) (2 Kings 2:12). This does not mean that all brothers are angels (people sent by GOD). Let us exercise discernment. In view of the different names and roles of the HOLY SPIRIT in the Bible, he functions as an angel of JESUS. The Holy Spirit is also called the Spirit of GOD, the Spirit of the LORD, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, the HOLY SPIRIT the Spirit of CHRIST, the Spirit of JESUS, the Spirit of Grace, the Holy Spirit of GOD (Genesis 1:2, John 16:13, Romans 8:9, Hebrews 10:29, Ephesians 4:30). Angels: spirits serving GOD Angels are spirits created by GOD to accomplish His will. They have various fu nctions. They exercise their functions with GOD and/or with men. Although angels come to our aid, we must never forget that they are serving GOD. GOD is the one who sends them to us. They don't decide to come to us on their own. They are not the souls of deceased persons. The dead do not watch over the living. See the article No, dead people don't watch over the living . They are creatures of GOD (Colossians 1:16; Psalms 148:2-5). They can appear physically and take on human form (Genesis 19:1-17, Luke 24:4; Acts 1:10, Daniel 1:21). They are endowed with supernatural and superhuman abilities (2 Peter 2:11; Psalms 103:20). They each have a personality (intelligence, emotions, will, ability to express themselves) (1 Peter 1:12, Luke 2:13). One third of the angels rebelled with the devil (Hebrews 12:22, Revelation 12:3-9). They made a choice. This means that they each have a personality, the ability to think, express themselves and choose. They can communicate in different ways. In spirit, audibly, through visions, dreams and physical movements. Angels have communicated with me in these different ways on several occasions. The Bible does not give us the exact number of angels. However, it does tell us that there are many of them. More than 12 legions of angels (Matthew 26:53. A legion consists of about 6,000 people. The myriads of the choir of angels (Hebrews 12:22). Myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands (Revelation 5:11). Ten thousand million (Daniel 7:10). The multitude of the heavenly army (Luke 2:13). Several words and expressions refer to angels in the Bible. Notably: Sons of GOD (Psalms 89:7; Job 1:6, Job 38:4-7). Morning stars (Job 38:7). The multitude of the heavenly army (Luke 2:13). The army of heaven (Deuteronomy 4:19, Psalms 103:21). Chariots, horsemen or cavalry or horses (rekeb strong no. 7393, Hebrew): Psalms 68:17, 2 Kings 2:11, 2 Kings 6:17. Also refers to the army of GOD. The saints, holy myriads (Psalms 89:6-8, Deuteronomy 33:1-2, Jude 1:14) Watchmen or those who watch (Daniel 4:10,14) Men (appearance in human form) (Genesis 19:1-17, Luke 24:4; Acts 1:10, Daniel 1:21). Servants, flames of fire, winds (Psalms 103:20, Psalms 104:3). These expressions can also refer to men. Prince or leader (Daniel 10:13, Daniel 10:20). Living beings with many faces (Ezekiel 1:12, Ezekiel 10:10). Cherubim (Exodus 25:18, Exodus 37:7, Ezekiel 10:2, Ezekiel 10:7-8, Ezekiel 10:15-16, Ezekiel 41:18, Psalms 99:1, 1 Kings 6:25, 1 Kings 8:7, 2 Chronicles 3:14, etc.). Seraphim (Isaiah 6:2; Isaiah 6:-6) Archangels (Jude 1:9, 1 Thessalonians 4:16) Three categories of angels and two categories of heavenly beings are mentioned in the Bible: cherubim, seraphim, archangels, the four living creatures, and the twenty-four elders. Cherubim (keruwb in Hebrew, Strong's 3742) are guardians . They closed off the path to the tree of life to Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:24). Two sculptures of cherubim made of gold (cherubim of glory) were placed on the lid of the ark (Exodus 25:17-20; Exodus 26:31, Hebrews 9:5). They were depicted on the veil separating the holy place from the most holy place (Exodus 26:31). Seraphim ( Saraph in Hebrew, Strong 8314), mentioned only in Isaiah 6:2-3 and Isaiah 6:6. These angels praise the LORD and sanctify the mouths of the prophets . The word Saraph is also translated as burning serpent, flying dragon, venomous serpent (the venom having a burning effect). References: Numbers 21:6; Numbers 21:8; Deuteronomy 8:15; Isaiah 14:29. T he archangels or principal angels or chief angels (archaggelos in Greek, Strong 743). The word archangel refers to a rank and not a type in itself . They fight the devil (Jude 1:9, Jude 9; Revelation 12:7) and they proclaim the return of JESUS CHRIST (1 Thessalonians 4:16). They are not the only ones who fight, proclaim and deliver messages. But there are battles (against the devil and principalities) and proclamations that only they can make. There are messages that only they can deliver. Only two names of angels, both archangels, are mentioned in the Bible: Gabriel (Daniel 8:16; Daniel 9:21; Luke 1:19, Luke 1:26) and Michael (Daniel 10:13, Daniel 10:21; Daniel 12:1; Jude 1:9; Revelation 12:7). Michael and Gabriel are not the only archangels. They are the only ones whose names are mentioned in the Bible. Before his rebellion, Satan was an archangel, a protective cherub (Ezekiel 28:14). It is not explicitly written that he was an archangel, but it is explicitly written that he and his angels fought against Michael and his angels (Revelation 12:7-9). Ordinary angels : if there are archangels (angelic leaders), then there must also be angels who are not archangels. We can say that those who are not archangels are ordinary angels. They are the ones who are most often with us. (Hebrews 1:14) The four living creatures, each with six wings (Revelation 4:6-11). Some teachers consider them to be a category of angels. Others consider them to be a different category from angels. ‘ They never stop saying, day and night: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD GOD, the Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come !”’ (Revelation 4:8) The twenty-four elders (Revelation 4:10-11). Some teachers consider them to be a category of angels. Others consider them to be a different category from angels. They worship GOD. (Revelation 4:9-11, NKJV ) : 9  Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10  the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying : 11  “You are worthy, O LORD,To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” Fallen angels: Satan and his angels Fallen angels are those who have lost their status as angels of GOD. One third of the angels joined Lucifer's rebellion (Hebrews 12:22, Revelation 12:3-9). After their rebellion, they (including Satan) were cast out of the Kingdom of Heaven. They are the fallen angels. Those who joined Satan's rebellion are called his angels. Before his rebellion, Satan was called Lucifer, a name that means ‘morning star,’ ‘son of the dawn,’ ‘star of the day,’ or ‘bright star’ (Isaiah 14:12). He was a protective cherubim archangel (Ezekiel 28:14, Revelation 12:7-9). Since his rebellion, he has been called by several names that describe his different facets. He speaks, thinks, acts, moves, has emotions, feelings and a will. He appears to some and presents himself in different ways. One of his tricks is to disguise himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). **   Ohayō (おはよう) / Ohayou gozaimasu/Ohayou  = Good morning in Japanese ** Sawasdee  (วัสดี) = Good morning in thaï

Guten Tag , family! Buongiorno , family in CHRIST! ‘ May grace, compassion, and peace be given to you from GOD our FATHER and JESUS CHRIST our LORD !’ (1 Timothy 1:2) May the LORD be the judge between you and your enemies. May the angels freely deliver the answers to your prayers. I don't exclusively watch Christian films. I exclusively watch films that edify me . The fact that a film is produced by Christians does not necessarily mean that it is edifying. The fact that a film does not refer to the Bible does not mean that it is not inspired by GOD . I like films and series whose theme, message, script and images teach me, encourage me, inspire me, challenge me and reflect my values. I have no shortage of books and DVDs at home. On a personal basis and through my association Partage Ton Rhema , I regularly give away Christian books and DVDs of Christian and inspirational films . A Man called Jon ❖ "   And if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.   Therefore let no one despise him. But send him on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I am waiting for him with the brethren. " (1 Corinthians 16 :10-11, NKJV) In the eyes of his congregation, Pastor Jon Terrell Carson is too demonstrative in his worship style. They do not appreciate his exuberance during services. Following a collective vote by the congregation, Senior Pastor Stannum decides to request Pastor Jon's transfer to a church more suited to his style of worship. Due to an administrative error, Jon and his family find themselves in an African-American church, where he is confronted by Associate Pastor Dickens. He does not agree with Pastor Jon's arrival and will do everything in his power to provoke his departure. 🙂 Oh, how I enjoyed this film! We need more like it. With humour and sincerity, the film presents the everyday realities of local churches. It is a wonderful encouragement to integration, to abandoning prejudice and, above all, a magnificent testimony to the fact that GOD looks at the heart before appearances. Just Mercy ❖ " Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, And plead the cause of the poor and needy. " (Proverbs 31:8-9, NKJV) The film is secular and inspired by a true story. After studying at the prestigious Harvard University, Bryan Stevenson is promised a brilliant and lucrative career as a lawyer. However, he decides to go to Alabama to defend people sentenced to death. He is helped by Eva Ansley, a local white activist. One of his first cases was the case of Walter McMillian (nicknamed “Johnny D.”), a black man who was wrongfully convicted, without a preliminary investigation, and sentenced to death in 1987 for the murder of an 18-year-old white girl. He reopened the case and secured Walter's release. The film presents the tragedies of racism without inciting hatred. But above all, it shows the commitment, humility, frustration and determination of a man who saves lives and inspires generations. Bryan A. Stevenson (born in 1959 in the United States) is an American lawyer and the founder and president of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) , a private American non-profit organisation based in Montgomery, Alabama. He also teaches law at various prestigious universities. Bryan A. Stevenson has successfully argued a number of cases before the US Supreme Court and has received numerous honours for his work on prison reform. As founder and director of the EJI, Stevenson has focused on ending mass incarceration and excessive sentencing in the United States. He provides free legal assistance to death row inmates, those who have been wrongfully or unjustly convicted, children sentenced to die in adult prisons, people with disabilities, and other marginalised and disenfranchised individuals. Until The Last Promise ❖ " But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. " (1 Timothy 5:8, NKJV) The film is inspired by a true story and the best-selling book of the same name published in 2019. It tells the story of Pamela Kennedy, wife of doctor and pastor Richard Kennedy. In the middle of his career, Pastor Richard is diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Pamela chooses to manage the family and care for her husband until he returns to the LORD. This film reminds us that even in difficult times, we can see GOD's faithfulness. It is a wonderful lesson in resilience, in the importance of choosing your spouse wisely and building your family on the right foundations: those of GOD. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed this selection. See you next time! Until then, I encourage you to remain faithful to CHRIST, to your calling, and to your family! **   Guten Tag  = Good morning in german ** Buongiorno = Good morning in italian
