Ulimola salt of the earth! Bonjou light! Let your light shine and your good works be seen (Matthew 5:16). May people say, “Blessed be the LORD! Let your tongue praise his righteousness and speak his praises every day (Psalms 35:28). May GOD bless your hands, your land and the work of your hands. May you receive the ability to keep what GOD gives you 🙂 May you receive excellent news this week!
" Prepare your outside work, Make it fit for yourself in the field; And afterward build your house." (Proverbs 24:27, NKJV)
" Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations. When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in, The lambs will provide your clothing, And the goats the price of a field; You shall have enough goats’ milk for your food, For the food of your household, And the nourishment of your maidservants." (Proverbs 27 : 23-27, NKJV)
In its etymological sense, agriculture refers to all human activities involving the cultivation of fields. In the broadest sense, it also includes animal husbandry. Its role is essentially to provide food.
Agriculture also produces products such as leather, textile fibers, fertilizers, industrial products (ethanol, biodiesel, rubber), decorative plants (flowers), wood and building materials (straw, plant-based insulation).
In economics, the agricultural economy is defined as the sector of activity whose function is to generate financial income from the exploitation of land (cultivation), forest (forestry), sea, lakes and rivers (aquaculture, fishing), farm animals (breeding) and wild animals (hunting).
Agronomy accompanies agriculture. It is defined as all the exact, natural, economic and social sciences useful or necessary for practicing and understanding agriculture. Veterinary sciences are sometimes excluded from this definition.
The food industry, also known as the agri-food industry, is the set of industrial activities that transform raw materials from agriculture, livestock farming or fishing into food products. Agro-industry is a term used to describe all industries with a direct link to agriculture. These include farmers themselves, as well as companies responsible for supplying equipment (fertilizers, pesticides, machinery) or processing and packaging agricultural products. The agro-industrial sector encompasses agri-food, agri-pharmaceuticals and all sectors involved in the valorization of agro-resources: paper, bio-energy, biomaterials, leather, textiles, essential oils, cosmetics, crafts, etc.
From one country to another, agriculture and livestock alone account for between 4% and 30% of GDP (Gross Domestic Product). In poor and developing countries, farmers are poorly educated, or even illiterate. In addition to financial concerns, their preoccupations include: soil management (productivity, maintenance, availability, climate, irrigation), health, education and equipment.
Today, I invite you to pray for those who produce the food we eat. You can choose or be inspired by the points below 🙂 Pray in tongues and with understanding.
Point 1: Spreading, receiving and understanding the Gospel.
" Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of GOD, and of JESUS our LORD. " (2 Peter 1:2, KJV)
Pray for the spread, reception and understanding of the Gospel in agricultural circles. Pray that GOD will equip and accompany those who serve him in these regions. Pray that agricultural Christians will have access to quality teaching and books. Pray that all forms of adultery, idolatry and necromancy will be abandoned. Let us pray for a multiplication of water baptisms and spirit baptisms, with the sign of the gift of speaking in tongues. Let us pray for the healing and restoration of souls. Let us pray for peace in families.
Point 2 : Education, health and soil management
" Beloved, I wish you to prosper in every way and to be in good health, just as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2)
Pray for literacy and access to education. Pray for the sharing of best practices. Pray that those who need it will be trained to better preserve, optimize, diversify, transform, recycle and negotiate.
Let us pray for the abandonment of toxic products and, as far as possible, their prohibition. Pray for soil and seed management. Pray for medical advances on cancers and diseases caused by chemical contamination. Ask that false labels be exposed.
Point 3 : Finance
" Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house." (Proverbs 24:27, KJV)
" Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens." (Proverbs 27 : 23-27, KJV)
" The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd." (Ecclesiastes 12:11, KJV)
Let's pray for win-win partnerships. Let us ask the LORD to fill with wisdom, intelligence, those who are in CHRIST. May they not be among those who waste their time in fruitless discussions and pointless battles. May integrity and diversification be their lot. May GOD bless their investments. May swindling schemes fail. May they be in abundance to contribute to the expansion of the Kingdom and renew their equipment.
Point 4 : Thanksgiving
" Likewise the SPIRIT also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the SPIRIT itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the SPIRIT, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of GOD. " (Romans 8 : 26-27, kjv)
Pray in tongues, invoke the blood of JESUS on your life and give thanks.
Amen! Surely the LORD will remember you. I'll be glad to share your prayer topics 🙂 Write to me and I'll publish yours.
