Wè ma sogha whom GOD consoles! Ndauwe woman of peace! Rise up, bless the LORD, your GOD, from eternity to eternity! Let your glorious name be blessed, which is above all blessing and praise! (Nehemiah 9:5) May the name of the LORD be sanctified in your house, and may your name be a blessing to your people. I will be glad to share your prayer topics 🙂 Write to me and I will publish yours.
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of CHRIST. (Galatians 6:2, Berean Standard Bible)
Now may the GOD who gives endurance and encouragement grant you harmony with one another in CHRIST JESUS, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the GOD and Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. (Romais 15:5-6, Berean Standard Bible)
In the same way, we who are many form one body by being united to CHRIST. And we are all united to one another, each in his own place, as parts of one body (Romans 12:5, Parole de Vie 2017). CHRIST has only one body, that body is made up of all believers (Romans 12:5; John 1:12; 1 Corinthians 10:17; 1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 4:12; Hebrews 13:3; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:24). We are in CHRIST, united through CHRIST and for CHRIST. That is why carrying each other's burdens and praying for each other is necessary.
There are fewer and fewer Christians in Palestine. Today, Christians represent only 2% of the Palestinian population, 15% of whom live in Israeli territories. This has not always been like this. Since the 1960s, their numbers have been steadily decreasing. Every year, thousands of Palestinian Christians emigrate abroad. History shows that the more a community is in the minority, the more likely it is to be stigmatized or discriminated against. I suggest that we pray for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, those who choose to stay, those who are preparing to leave, and those who are wondering.
As I explained earlier, "to intercede is to serve GOD by our prayers". The goal of the intercessor is the will of GOD: his will in men, for men, and through men. Whatever our interpretations and opinions on the Israeli-Palestinian issues, let us remember that CHRIST has only one body. The FATHER wants men to be saved, to know the truth, to walk in love, to be built up in faith, and to prosper in every way (1 Timothy 2:4, Ephesians 4:11-13, Ephesians 5:1, Galatians 5:22 3 John 1:2).
Let us pray together for what GOD wants. Let us pray in tongue and in mind.
Let's ask him for power to meet the needs of the churches and ministries in Palestine.
Like Daniel, let us ask for the LORD's mercy and forgiveness (Daniel 8:8-10).
Raise your voice for the ministry of women and mothers.
Pray for the elderly and fathers.
Pray for the youth.
Pray for access to care, education, and employment.
May knowledge and understanding of the truth be shared by the many.
Raise your voice against idolatry, syncretism, isolation, discrimination, persecution, misunderstandings, hatred, and unnecessary fighting.
That the members may be edified, strengthened and anointed. That the body may fully exercise its mandate.
Amen.
