Buenos días light! Hola soldier! Walk without fear, for the LORD is with you (Isaiah 41:10). He says to you, “ I, the LORD, your GOD, instruct you for your good, I lead you in the way you should go.”
I hope that, like me, the series on what forgiveness is not has done you a lot of good. Before studying what forgiveness is, I think it's a good idea to start by reading and meditating on a few verses. I invite you to do the same. That's why I'm sharing the following verses with you. You can make them the subject of edifying discussions with your loved ones. What do they think about forgiveness? What difference do they make between forgiveness, healing (of the soul), restoration, healing, justice, vengeance, mercy and grace? What do they think it means to forgive wholeheartedly?

❖ " For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin. Also do not take to heart everything people say, Lest you hear your servant cursing you. For many times, also, your own heart has known That even you have cursed others." (Ecclesiastes 7: 20-22, NKJV)
❖ " And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as GOD in CHRIST forgave you. " (Ephesians 4:32, NKJV)
❖ « Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as CHRIST forgave you, so you also must do. » (Colossians 3:13, NKJV).
❖ " Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the LORD. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:19-21, NKJV)

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." (Galatians 6:7-9, NKJV)
❖ " For he is GOD’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is GOD’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. (Romans 13: 4-6, NKJV)
❖ " So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment." (James 2:12-13, NJKV)

❖ " This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that GOD is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS CHRIST His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." (1 John 1: 5-10, NKJV)
❖ " Then Peter came to Him and said, “LORD, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” JESUS said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.” ( Matthieu 18:21-35, NKJV)

❖ “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. (Ezekiel 18:24, NKJV)

❖ For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. (2 Corinthians 7:10, NKJV)
❖ Justice and equity are the foundation of your throne. Grace and faithfulness are before your face. Blessed are the people who have cause to shout for joy! LORD! They will walk in the brightness of your face. They shall rejoice in thy name all day long, and glory in thy righteousness. For you are the glory of their strength, and our horn is lifted up by your favor. For the LORD is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel is our King (Psalms 89:15-18, Ostervald 1877).
❖ " Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. " (Romans 12:17-18, NKJV)

❖ “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector." (Matthiew 18:15-17, NKJV)
❖ If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not lead to death, let him pray, and GOD will give life to that brother; I'm talking here about those who commit a sin that does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death, and it's not for that sin that I say pray. All unrighteousness is sin, but not all sin leads to death.” (1 John 5:16-17, Segond 21)
❖ " But I say to you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat and persecute you, that you may be sons of your FATHER in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. If you love those who love you, what reward do you deserve? Don't publicans do the same? And if you only greet your brothers, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Don't the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5: 44-48, LSG).
❖ I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live. (Deuteronomy 30:19, NKJV)
❖ However, all those who devour you will be devoured, and all your enemies, yes all of them, will go into exile. Those who rob you will be robbed, and all those who rob you will be plundered. On the other hand, I will provoke your recovery, I will heal your wounds, declares the LORD, for they have called you “the expatriate, the Zion that no one cares for anymore”. (Jeremiah 30:16-17, SG21)
❖ I will restore to you the years that were devoured by the locust, the cricket, the locust and the caterpillar, my great army that I sent against you. (Joel 2:25, King-James translation)
❖ For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is GOD’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is GOD’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. (Romans 13 : 3-4, NKJV)
❖ For he is GOD’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is GOD’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are GOD’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. (Romans 13: 4-6, NKJV)
❖ " Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the LORD’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. For this is the will of GOD, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of GOD. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear GOD. Honor the king." (1 Peter 2 : 13-17, NKJV)
❖ " Pursue peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the LORD: watching lest [there be] any one who lacks the grace of GOD; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and many be defiled by it; lest [there be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one meal sold his birthright; for ye know that also afterwards, desiring to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, (for he found no place for repentance) although he sought it earnestly with tears." (Hebrews 12:14-17, Darby)

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD." (Leviticus 19 : 17-18, NKJV)
❖ " So let no one harm his brother in this area by infringing his rights. GOD, in fact, does justice to every fault of this kind: we have already told you and warned you. For God has not called us to indulge in degrading practices, but to live in a holy manner.” (1 Thessalonians 4:6-7, Semeur)
❖ " Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them." (Deuteronomy 32:35, NKJV)
❖ " He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; The coastlands He will fully repay." (Isaiah 59:16-18, NKJV)
❖ (Psalms 73:1-28) I encourage you to read the whole chapter.
❖ (PsaLms 73:15-28, Semeur english translation) : “ 15 If I said, “Let's talk like them,” then I'd be betraying your sons. 16 I began to think: I sought to understand, I found it all far too unfair 17 until the day I entered GOD's house and thought about the fate that awaits them. 18 For, in fact, you put them on a slippery slope, you lead them towards ruin. 19 And suddenly, disaster strikes: in an instant, they are lost, they are destroyed, and terror seizes them. 20 As the images of a dream fade away, after waking up, O LORD, when you intervene, you will make them all disappear. 21 Yes, when my heart was bitter and as long as I tormented myself, 22 I was a fool, an ignoramus, I behaved with you like a beast without reason. 23 But I am always with you, and you have grasped my right hand, 24 according to your plan, you lead me, then you will take me in glory. 25 Who have I in heaven but you? And here on earth what can I desire, for I am with you? 26 My body may be weary and my heart fail, GOD remains my rock, and my precious possession forever. 27 He who forsakes you will be lost, and you will destroy all those who are unfaithful to you. 28 But my happiness is to be always close to GOD. Yes, in the LORD, in the ETERNAL, I have placed my sure refuge, and I will tell of his works.”
