Ohayô gozaimass (おはよう ございます) justified by grace.
I was once asked, “Who is JESUS?” At the moment I did not know what to answer, more exactly I did not know how to answer. Not that I didn't know who JESUS is, but I had lost the habit of speaking, of JESUS with simple words. I wondered how to speak of JESUS in being sincere, truthful, and brief. Obviously, the person in front of me was not going to give me four hours to retrace Genesis, from the old to the New Testament. I realized at that moment that it was easier for me to quote verses, to mention miracles, to speak of his works, than to speak of him. "Who is JESUS? Who is He for me? So I decided to write in a few words who He is: my Redeemer, my LORD, my Big brother, my Truth, my Glory, my triumph, my way, my life, my testimony.
JESUS is first my Redeemer, my Savior, my Deliverer. He made me free from the law of sin and death. He freed me from chains and redeemed me from the curse of the law. Through Him, I have the remission of my sins and freedom.
When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the forbidden tree, they received life from the devil "death". They delivered their offspring to satan and gave him authority over the earth. Before I was even born I was condemned to death. Sentenced to spiritual, emotional, physical, and material death. No human could have reversed this spiritual transaction. You cannot dominate what you are dominated by. It needed someone in whom the devil could find nothing, but in whom GOD could find everything. It had to be someone who could take it all, forgive everything, teach everything. Who is like GOD?
GOD being Love, refused to let me die without doing anything (I like to say in English "He refused to let me die without a try". He was, and He is for eternity GOD (Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent (Transcendent, Immutable) Nothing in me can add anything to Him. My most beautiful praise, my greatest dedication, my most eloquent speech, my most sincere adoration, would add nothing to what He is. ALMIGHTY that He is, It would take one word and the earth would be no more. But He chose to give Himself up so that I would be free. It cost Him to set me free. I was not redeemed from a discounted price, He estimated that I am worth what He has most dear. Despite my faults, my imperfections, and my errors, I am loved by the one who knows Everything in advance, who has Everything, and who can do Everything.
An American pastor said "Because you know GOD's Love, when you make a mistake, you run to Him, not away from Him. You bring it to Him and repent ... You are too loved to settle in sin." In others words : ”Because you know the Love GOD has for you, when you make a mistake (or a sin), you run towards him and not far from him. You bring it before Him (confess/acknowledge) and you repent ... You are too loved to settle in sin. ”
When GOD forgives, He truly forgives. The restoration process might take a little while, but that doesn't mean He hasn't forgiven (if your repentance is genuine). But what pushed you to commit that sin, must be totally eradicated so that you will help others. That's why you will have to take responsibility for the consequences of your actions for a while. Inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT, the Apostle Peter said “There is no salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
